About Guillaume Sardin

Guillaume is an artist, trained as an architect .  He shares his curious and passionate approach to design and stories  between France and Rwanda. As Lecturer at the University in Rwanda, he  shared his joyful and anthropological approach. He learned to shift his perspective, to mix points of view and influences, leaving western and present centered narration

His playful work unearths forgotten and little-known worlds, inhabited by mythologies of fascinating beauty. His drawings are stories where time and space dance and intertwine. The clear line of Guillaume Sardin recomposes the world while traveling ,like a breeze, from reference to reference.

Guillaume works with various techniques from gouache, textile and  paper engineering, and at various scale from a Champagne label to a  painted ceiling.

He has worked around the world from Bangkok to  Chicago, among others, with Ruinart, Le Bristol, Vacheron Constantin and  Sotheby’s . His artworks have joined  public and private collections.
